ISCC plus accreditation has been granted to the Scottish facility of Guala Closures

Bureau Veritas, an industry leader in inspection, testing, and certification services, is the organisation that bestows this honour upon the recipient. It validates that Guala Closures are making ‘Circular Packaging’ and ‘Bio-Circular Packaging’ closures, both of which are verified as being sustainable thanks to Guala Closures’ control of the entire supply chain, beginning with the raw materials and ending with the finished products.

The ISCC Plus certification gives businesses the capacity to monitor and demonstrate the quality of their products by assessing the sustainability and traceability standards along the entire production chain. This allows businesses to demonstrate that their products are of a high standard.

Blossom Sustainable Closures are a variety of sustainable closures that were introduced by the company in the year 2020. These closures were built in accordance with the group’s eco-design criteria in order to lessen the impact that they have on the environment.

“This third ISCC Plus Certification is another extremely important milestone in our continued commitment to sustainable development,” Franco Bove, the chief operating officer of Guala Closures Group, stated.

“The UK location serves numerous prominent spirit brands, all of which today expect a high quality, luxury product that also satisfies their own environmental, social, and governance (ESG) objectives. Our global commitment to the people, communities, and territories in which we operate has been strengthened by this new certification.
